UJIAN TEMBAKAN MISIL TUDM TEPAT MENGENAI SASARAN

KUALA LUMPUR – Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) telah berjaya melaksanakan latihan tembakan persenjataan Misil Udara ke Permukaan iaitu bagi misil jenis KH31A (Anti Kapal) dan juga misil jenis KH31P (Anti Radiasi) pada 20 Sep 14 yang lalu.

Latihan tembakan ini telah dilaksanakan di kawasan tembakan khas di sekitar Perairan Laut China Selatan dengan menggunakan pesawat Su-30MKM (Sukhoi) dari No 11 Skuadron.

Malaysia’s first A400M takes shape

The first Airbus A400M new generation airlifter for the Royal Malaysian Air Force is rapidly taking shape at the Airbus Defence and Space final assembly line in Seville, Spain. All the fully equipped major sections including the wing, tailplane, cockpit, fuselage and landing-gear have been joined ready for ground-testing. This aircraft will be delivered in the first quarter of 2015, followed by two more later in the year and the fourth and final aircraft in 2016.

The A400M can carry heavy and outsize loads over intercontinental distances at jet-like speeds while retaining true tactical capability to use short and unprepared runways, and can also act as an air-to-air refueller. The first group of Malaysian pilot trainees are already undergoing instruction at the Airbus Defence and Space International Training Centre and will be joined by maintenance engineers and technicians in the coming weeks.

The photo showed the F-22 failed to radar jam the MiG and was releasing flares to avoid missile lock-on by the MiG-29, but was later nailed by cannon fire instead. The MiG-29 pilot claimed that the F-22 was in ambush mode while going stealth (in passive mode) with no radar emission and using a F-15 to bait the Malaysian jets, but he could detect it with the new Russian radar installed last year. The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) will conduct the first live firings of Kh-31A anti-ship and Kh-31P anti-radiation missiles (AS-17 'Krypton') from its Sukhoi Su-30MKM fighters during a joint exercise with Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) in the South China Sea this month.

The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) college in Kepala Batas here will be getting five more Pilatus PC-7 Mark II type of aircraft to add to its fleet of training aircraft at the Flying Training Centre 1 (Pulatibang 1).

RMAF chief, General Tan Sri Rodzali Daud, said the five additional aircraft were for the purpose of increasing the number of instructors and trainee pilots in Pulatibang 1.

Pemerhati pertahanan tempatan rata-rata sudah maklum tentang hasrat kerajaan Malaysia yang bakal menamatkan perkhidmatan pesawat pejuang MiG-29N menjelang tahun 2015. Pesawat pejuang yang digunakan sejak tahun 1995 ini merupakan tunjang Tentera Udara DiRaja Malaysia (TUDM) dan menjadi pengimbang kuasa udara negara berbanding dengan negara jiran tetangga yang rata-rata ketika itu telah mengoperasikan jet pejuang moden seperti F-16.

Malaysia recently received the first four of the twelve Cougar EC725 transport helicopters ordered back in 2010. This is an 11 ton, European made, aircraft with a useful load of 5.5 tons, a top speed of 324 kilometers an hour and endurance of about five hours. The twelve EC725 cost nearly $50 million each and will replace 28 elderly S-61 Sea Kings. The Sea Kings are decades old and Malaysia has a hard time keeping in flying condition. There have been 15 accidents, killing 89 people, since the S-61s entered service in 1968.

THE Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) base Butterworth is straining under the weight of personnel and materiel being flown in daily as part of the biggest combined military exercise in Southeast Asia.

Dubbed Cope Taufan/Teak Mint 2014, the exercise is to test the capability of the RMAF and the United States Air Force to streamline their common procedures, enhance the interoperatability between the two fighting forces, step up bilateral training and cooperation and provide a realistic training environment.

In the picture is the two unit cockpits of the Airbus A400M numbered MSN22 and MSN23. Previous report note that the MSN22 belongs to the Royal Malaysia Air Force or the RMAF which is undergoing final assembly in the Airbus facilities in Spain.

Didalam gambar kelihatan dua unit kokpit Airbus A400M bernombor MSN22 dan MSN23. Ada laporan terdahulu mengatakan bahawa pendaftaran MSN22 ialah kepunyaan Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia atau TUDM yang sedang didalam pemasangan peringkat akhir di fasiliti Airbus dekat Sepanyol
